About

Our Story

Paradise Valley Retreats was created through two friends with a shared love for the valley & the simple moments it offers.

Mohamed is from the valley & runs a small cafe on the trail, welcoming visitors who come to explore the area. Meg discovered Paradise Valley while living in the nearby coastal town of Tamraght, where she teaches yoga & shares mindful practices. She quickly found herself returning to the valley again & again for the peaceful atmosphere & the feeling of calm that the landscape naturally creates.

The valley became a place where they both would spend time together hiking, sitting quietly beside the water, meditating under the palm trees, deep chats by the camp fire & simply enjoying the rhythm of the mountains. It was during these moments that the idea for Paradise Valley Retreats began to grow. The things they loved most about the valley (walking through the landscape, sharing meals, slowing down & connecting with nature) felt like experiences worth sharing.

Paradise Valley Retreats was created to invite others to experience the same sense of calm, connection & discovery that first brought them together in this remarkable place.

Meet your host Meg

Meg is a yoga teacher and community organiser from the UK who fell in love with Morocco. She has spent a lot of time exploring Paradise Valley & the beautiful nearby coastal town of Tamraght. She shares experiences that combine nature, mindfulness & connection.

Her journey into yoga, meditation & mindfulness began while searching for natural ways to manage stress & anxiety in her own life. Through these practices she discovered the power of slowing down, reconnecting with nature & creating space for calm.

Meg’s approach focuses on helping guests step away from the busy pace of everyday life & reconnect with themselves.

By sharing simple techniques that support relaxation & awareness, Meg guides experiences where guests can feel calm, grounded & refreshed. While also making sure there is plenty of joy & fun along the way.

Why Paradise Valley?

Hidden in the foothills of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, Paradise Valley is a landscape of palm groves, natural pools & dramatic canyon cliffs.

The winding road into the valley reveals sweeping views before opening into a peaceful oasis where water flows between the rocks and palm trees offer shade beneath the mountains.

For generations it has been a place where people come to walk, swim, share food & reconnect with nature. It is this natural rhythm of the valley that inspires the experiences we share with our guests.

We look forward to welcoming you to the valley
